This is going to be lengthy.
Thinking back on 2011 I can say that the word that comes to mind most is growth. That’s been a recurring theme lately and I dare to say that I’m looking forward to it always being a huge “theme” throughout my life. I’ve really been thinking about the things I want to say about 2011… because this year has been… interesting. It has been magnificent. I’ve grown up a lot this year. An incredible amount. This year has been one of the most exciting years I’ve experienced. This has been a year of firsts. In so many different facets.
- I had my first one year anniversary.
- I had my first college audition.
- my first college acceptance.
- A very special friend introduced me to a very funny substance for the first time.
- I turned 18.
- I went clubbing.
- I smoked a cigar.
- I bought a lottery ticket.
- I got my first D.
- I played a lead in a mainstage.
- I bought my first lighter.
- I got into my first car accident.
- I got my first pixie cut.
- My first gay best friend.
- My first going away from home cries.
- My first break up scare.
- My first critics choice.
- My first movie audition.
- My first Agent.
- My first money panic attack.
- I bought my first own plane tickets.
Honestly, there have been so many other firsts last year. And I feel like it’s yet only a precursor for the numerous adventures for the firsts to come this year.
Now, to the people that made my year of firsts the absolute best:
- Samuel French- It’s not possible for me to write what you mean to me. But you are my love. You have given me more than you will ever know. And It’s not even possible for me to write everything I want about you.
- Momma- You are my absolute sunshine.
- Pops- You’ve always tried your hardest, and you mean what you say.
- Joel- My little man. You are so smart and kind, You are going to be so handsome. You are one of the best things in my life. I love you more than you know, you are my little man.
- Jessalyn- You, my baby, are my little princess. My darling. The sweetest, cutest thing since apple pie. You melt my heart, everyday. I love you so so so much, my beautiful little sissy.
- Justice- You’re a pain in the arse, but you have such a beautiful heart. I love you so much, even when I want to smash your head in.
- Sammy- My little dude. I cannot wait to watch you grow. I love you so much.
- David- The hardest I have ever laughed in my entire life had been with you. You are so close to being perfect, I have no idea where I’d be without you. You will never know TRULY how much you mean.
- Tabitha- You my love, are beautiful. Inside and out. We’ve come so far together, and I expect it to continue. You are so great, and I’m incredibly blessed to have you. You are like my sister.
- Linda- The things you do for me. You are like my second mother. I adore you.
- Tom- You don’t even understand what you’ve meant to me.
- Kelley- ^. You are inherently cool. I appreciate you so very very much.
- Dagny- Darling. You are so wonderful. I love you dearly.
- Nanny- The best grandmother in the entire world.
- Grandpa- You are so funny, and loving, and brilliant. I love you dearly.
- Jonathan- I’ve missed you so much. you are one of the my best best friends.
- Mina- You’re so incredibly funny, and one of the most loving, giving, supportive people I have ever met. Thank you. I love you.
- Jacob-I look up to you. a lot.
- Gabby- My little adopted sister. I love you dearly.
- Jesus- You are the root of it all. I love you.
You all made this year worth everything. You people make me so happy, you may not even know how much you all mean to me. But, you all mean the world. All of you in one way or another have impacted me, and I hope that I mean to you what you all mean to me. I know this coming year will not only be just as wonderful as last, but exponentially better.
